One-Way Traffic Control 
Delays Expected on State Routes 49, 132, and 140

March 24, 2022 - Mariposa County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various operations on State Routes 49, 132, and 140 next week in Mariposa County.

Route 49

• One-way traffic control from East Fork Chowchilla River to Kimbell Road for striping operations beginning Monday, March 28, through Friday, April 1, 2022, from 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Route 132

• One-way traffic control from Mariposa/Tuolumne County Line to State Route 49, Coulterville, for shoulder work beginning Monday, March 28, through Wednesday, March 30, 2022, from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

Route 140

• One-way traffic control from Mariposa Creek to Coakley Circle for electrical work beginning Monday, March 28, through Friday, April 1, 2022, from 8:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.

Motorists should expect10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
