May 9, 2022 - Mariposa County Health and Human Services officials report an increase in COVID-19 cases in Mariposa County, with over 20 cases reported over the weekend. Our team is working hard on Case Investigation and Contact Tracing in an effort to limit the spread. We ask that our community be mindful of this increase in cases and do your best to limit your risk of getting or spreading COVID-19.
We urge everyone to stay home if you are feeling sick - even if you test negative for COVID-19. We strongly recommend masking, especially in crowded indoor settings to reduce the spread. You may also want to increase your social distancing and regular testing. If you have not done so already, we encourage you to make your appointment for your COVID-19 vaccines or boosters.
