July 2015 SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. has announced the following appointment. 

Jeff Burdick, 65, of Coarsegold, has been appointed to the California Community Colleges Board of Governors. 

Burdick has been a professor of English at the State Center Community College District, Clovis Community College Center since 2001. He earned a Master of Arts degree in English from California State University, Long Beach. 

This position does not require Senate confirmation and the compensation is $100 per diem. 

Burdick is registered without party preference.
