May 29, 2022 - Around 7:30 A.M. on Saturday, May 28, 2022, Huron Police responded to a home on the 16000 block of W. Palmer Ave. for a report of a woman suffering from a stab wound. Officers examined the woman and determined she was deceased.
Due to it being a homicide, the case was turned over to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Homicide Unit. Our detectives are now handling the investigation and have identified a man as a person of interest and are looking at this murder being related to domestic violence. The man, who is known to the female victim, is currently hospitalized with injuries. The Sheriff’s Office wants to assure the community that this case is an isolated incident and we do not have any outstanding suspects who pose a danger to the community. The victim’s identity is not available to release at this time.
