Earlier in the day:
July 15, 2015 - All phone lines are down for those areas serviced by the Hornitos Telephone Company TDS. The AT&T main service line as well as the backup fiber optic lines were cut in the Stockton area. Several Central Valley counties and cities have been affected.
AT&T and TDS are aware and working on the situation. Currently TDS callers can call other TDS customers. Currently there is no estimated time of restoral.
TDS has re-routed all TDS 911 calls to the local CalFire Hornitos Fire Station.
TDS customers should not have any issues calling 911 from their land line phones. Should a TDS customer experience an issue with 911 they can dial the CalFire Station directly at 376-2323 FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY, a Mariposa County Sheriff's Office Dispatcher has been staffed there to receive all 911 calls.
The Sheriff’s Office will update as we receive information.
