Chris Doud to perform on Friday, June 10
Chris Doud is a country singer/songwriter and guitar slinger from the central valley of California. Most notably from the alt-country band, The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit, Chris has been consistently writing and performing music throughout California for the better part of twenty years, either as a solo artist or with several different bands.
Mike Hammar and the Nails to perform on Saturday, June 11
On June 11, Mike Hammar and the Nails return to the Art Park stage! Mike Hammar is an award winning and highly notable blues guitarist and songwriter, who regularly performs at blues festivals throughout California. Mike and his band are one of the most anticipated acts to play Music on the Green, consistently drawing one of the largest audience of the season.
Artwork for Music on the Green was created by Mariposa County High School Junior, Celianna Lee (pictured). Celianna is a versatile artist with a focus on digital illustration and acrylic painting. Her various inspirations have helped develop a contrast and color-orientated style, which play deeply into each composition. “I’m a passionate artist. Every piece I create is made with intention, emotion, and love. I chose dogwood flowers to symbolize our community.” The Arts Councils is pleased to support emerging young artists like Celianna by providing professional, collaborative project opportunities that help build community connection. Celianna’s first exhibition will be at Sticks Coffee (4993 7th St., Mariposa, CA 95338) through the month of August.
A complete schedule of the talent performing throughout this summer season can be found at Music on the Green. Tips for the performers will be solicited, encouraged, and appreciated.
