June 8, 2022 - Congressman Tom McClintock releases statement on Tuesday's primary victory.

"With last night's decisive vote, the citizens for the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the San Joaquin Valley have demanded a return to the uniquely American principles of individual liberty, constitutionally limited government and personal responsibility that built our country and that I have advocated throughout my career. They have overwhelmingly rejected the woke radicalism and empty political pandering that have made such a mess of our nation.

Although I never doubted the outcome, the size of this victory is personally gratifying, and I cannot adequately thank the people of the fifth district for their vote of confidence and their affirmation of a simple and practical truth: freedom works.

I look forward to advancing that message as we work to save our country in the historic congressional election in 153 days."
