June 13, 2022 - Merced – George Aguilar (48) was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sale and distribute.
On June 12th, 2022, at 1:43 A.M., Officer Mitchell King initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for a lighting violation. A records check revealed Aguilar had an active arrest warrant. Aguilar was arrested and his vehicle was searched. He was in possession of 77 grams of a controlled substance, digital scales, and $891, and a police scanner radio.
Aguilar was booked into custody at the Merced County Jail for possession of a controlled substance for sale, resisting arrest, and the lighting equipment violation.
