150+ Acres, heavy brush and timber, 0% Contained
Unified ordering point is Sierra National Forest
South Central Sierra Interagency Incident Management Team (Cooper) has been mobilized to the incident.
ICP will be located at North Fork Forest Fire Station
A Tentative In briefing scheduled for 1000hrs. tomorrow with transition at 1800hrs
CAL FIRE air and ground resources assigned
Update: 7:55 P.M.
The fire began at 2:30 July 25, 2015.
It started between road 274 and Douglas station road in the area of Bass Lake.
Road 274 closed, and adjacent roads and both ways into Central Camp are closed.
The area that is burning is in heavy fuels. At this time it has burned a reported 200 acres.
Resident’s Central camp has been evacuated and additional evacuation advisories have been issued in the Cascadel Woods and Bass Lake area.
The Willow fire is 0% contained at this time. The fire is under unified command with Cal-Fire Madera and Mariposa unit. A type two team has been ordered and should take over tomorrow at 1600.
