August 8, 2022 - Victims of the Mariposa Oak and Aqua Fires can receive food, personal hygiene products, infant care, cleaning supplies, clothing and much more as part of the Disaster Relief Effort of Churches of Christ.
Items will be distributed at the Mariposa Church of Christ, 5259 Hwy. 49 North, from 9 am to noon and 3 pm to 6 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and on Saturdays from 10 am to 3 pm.
The Mariposa congregation received a semi-truck load of items specifically for the Oak Fire victims as part of the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort out of Nashville, Tennessee.
The Disaster Relief Effort serves victims of major disasters like hurricanes, floods, tornados, wildfires, and terrorist attacks.
Those in need receive various specialized relief boxes and other supplies free of charge.
All aid is distributed through a local church congregation in the affected area and is given to anyone in need without regard to race, creed, national origin, faith or church affiliation.
