August 11, 2022 - MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltans) will perform various operations next week on State Route 49 in Mariposa County next week.
Work is scheduled as follows:
Route 49
- Moving lane closure from Mount Bullion to Route 132 for pavement marker replacement beginning Tuesday, August 16, through Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control from Bear Valley Road to the Mariposa/Tuolumne County Line for drainage cleaning/inspection beginning Tuesday, August 16, through Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
