August 19, 2022 - MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltans) will perform various operations next week on State Route 49 and 140 in Mariposa County.

Work is scheduled as follows:

Route 49

• Lane restrictions at 4th Street for sign work from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, August 22, 2022.

Route 140

• One-way traffic control from Bear Creek Bridge to Bull Creek Road for slope repair/clearing beginning Monday, August 22, through Thursday, August 25, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 2022.

Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
