Weather

Isolated high-based showers accompanied by sporadic lightning are possible in south-central to southeast Oregon early in the morning, with some cloud cover during the day likely from Idaho into Oregon and Washington associated with a weak upper low moving northward from northern California into Washington. Temperatures will still climb to above normal across the West, with most areas in the 90s to low 100s and minimum relative humidity mostly below 20%, including possible single digits in portions of the Inland Northwest, Great Basin, far northern California, and western Montana. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are likely in far southeast Arizona, much of New Mexico, and along the Divide in Colorado, with widespread to numerous thunderstorms from southwest Texas into east Texas. Scattered to widespread thunderstorms are expected along and ahead of a cold front stretching from the eastern Great Lakes and Northeast to the Gulf Coast.
