MPD Fentanyl

September 4, 2022 – Merced – Merced PD Gang Unit arrested two men suspected of selling Fentanyl.

On Saturday, August 3, 2022, at approximately 3:15 P.M., Merced Police Officers with the Gang Violence Suppression Unit served a search warrant in the 4300 block of Wickson Place in Merced. As Officers served the search warrant, they located approximately 90 grams of Fentanyl and approximately $21,000 in cash.

Two of the residents Lawrence Sears (24) and Mark Hill (31) were arrested and booked into Merced County Jail for Sales of Narcotics and Conspiracy to commit a crime.
