September 7, 2022 - The Madera County Sheriff issues Evacuation Orders due to the Fork Fire in North Fork, California.

5:05 P.M. Per CAL FIRE: 75 acres
5:00 P.M. Per Red Cross: A shelter is open for those affected by the #ForkFire at Oakhurst Community Center (39800 Fresno Flats Rd, Oakhurst, CA 93644). Red Cross volunteers are providing a safe place to stay, along with food, water and additional resources.

An Evacuation Warning has been issued for North Fork from Cascadel to the Mammoth Pool Trailer park due to Wildfire in North Fork.
There is a potential threat to life and property. Monitor the situation and be prepared to take action immediately. Don’t wait for an evacuation order to leave if you feel threatened.
Those who require additional time to evacuate, and those with pets and livestock should leave now.
