High-Country Health Food and Cafe in Mariposa California

September 9, 2022 - Merced – Randy Tyler (62) and Jimmy Cheatham (19) were arrested for weapon charges after a search warrant was served at the home in Merced.

On Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 9:58 P.M., Officer Laguna contacted Tyler near the 500 block of E. Main Street. Tyler was arrested on a felony warrant issued out of Fresno County. Cheatham was detained during the investigation.

Officers served a search warrant at Tyler’s and Cheatham’s residence near the unit block of W. 12th Street. At the residence, officers located an AR-15 pistol, ammunition, methamphetamine, and several pounds of processed marijuana.

Tyler was arrested for drugs and weapon charges in addition to the felony warrant. Cheatham was arrested for weapon charges. Both were booked into custody at the Merced County Jail.
