Northern California will continue to see the threat of lightning sparked wildfires as scattered thunderstorms are likely in northwestern and the upper north part of California A Red Flag Warning remains in effect today in Siskiyou, due to lightning and wind. These storms will be on the dry side so a high risk has been issued for dry lightning through tonight.
With wildfire activity so high, CAL FIRE is urging all residents to ensure they are ready for wildfire. Everyone should have a wildfire action plan that maps out exactly what important items they would take with them if evacuated.
