September 24, 2022 - The National Weather Service Hanford Office reports a warming trend will take place across our area during the remainder of this weekend into Monday, with highs mainly in the 90’s at the warmest locations.

Temperatures will rise to 6 to 10 degrees above average by Monday.

.SYNOPSIS...Temperatures will be on the rise over the next few
days with daytime highs reaching well above normal for this time
of year across much of the valley. Dry weather will accompany the
warmer temperatures through the end of the week.

.DISCUSSION...High pressure will build over the west coast over
the next few days bringing clear skies and above normal
temperatures for the region. Max temps seem to reach a peak on
Sunday with much of the lower valley seeing temperatures in the
mid-upper 90's. NBM guidance even indicates areas around Fresno
seeing a maximum MIN temperature come Monday and Tuesday which
could approach the old record of 68F from 2015. 

Mid-week temperatures will begin to drop back down, but still
remain above normal as a trough pushes into the Pacific Northwest.
Dry conditions will remain for the region through the remainder of
the period.

interior through at least the next 24 hours.
