August 6, 2015 - CAL FIRE reports this morning that nearly 11,000 firefighters continue to make good progress on the 19 active wildfires burning in California. A Fire Weather Watch is in effect for a large portion of Northern California.View the map.  Thunderstorms with dry lightning or very little rainfall is possible Thursday evening into Friday morning, and could result in new fire starts.  A return to seasonal weather is expected over the weekend.
