Traffic Advisory One-Way Traffic Control on State Routes 49, 132 and 140 

October 14, 2022 - MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (September) will perform various operations on State Routes 49, 132 and 140 from October 17-21, 2022.

Work is scheduled as follows:

Route 49

• One-way traffic control from Tiptop-Usona Road to Hirsh Road/Woodland Road for tree work beginning Tuesday, October 18, through Friday, October 21, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  
  • One-way traffic control from the Mariposa/Tuolumne County Line to Bear Valley Road for shoulder work beginning Thursday, October 20, through Friday, October 21, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  
  Route 132
  
  • One-way traffic control from the Mariposa/Tuolumne County Line to State Route 49 for shoulder work beginning Monday, October 17, through Wednesday, October 19, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  
  • One-way traffic control at 4th Street for sign work on Monday, October 17, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Route 140

• One-way traffic control from Climbing Lane to Bear Creek Bridge for tree work beginning Monday, October 17, through Thursday, October 20, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, October 21, 2022, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• Long-term one-way traffic control from Bear Creek Bridge to Bull Creek Road for slope repair through October 31, 2022.

• One-way traffic control from the Mariposa/Merced County Line to Trower Road for highway construction beginning Monday, October 17, through Friday, October 21, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
