October 14, 2022 - Mariposa Elementary is happy to announce that our beloved Veteran’s Day ceremony will be making its grand return to our campus this November. Please join the students of Mariposa to honor our veterans at the 25^th Veterans Day Commemoration.  Students from both Mariposa Elementary and MCHS come together to plan this special event that has become a treasured tradition at Mariposa Elementary School.  Special presentations will be made by Mariposa’s VFW Post 6042, Mariposa County Sheriff’s Honor Guard, Mariposa County High School band, as well as the Student Body Officers from both schools.  The ceremony will include the presentation of the flag, three volley rifle salute, the singing and signing of “God Bless the USA” and asking our Veterans to stand when they hear their branch of service music being played.  This event holds a very special place in the hearts of not only our students but the Veterans that we honor.  

Please join us on Thursday, November 10, 2022 @ 8:45 A.M. to honor the service and sacrifice of our Veterans.  Everyone is welcome to attend.
