November 5, 2022 - The National Weather Service Hanford Office reports a Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Yosemite National Park southward to the Upper San Joaquin River from 4:00 P.M. Sunday afternoon until 10:00 A.M. Wednesday morning.
The majority of this snow will be confined to two periods, Sunday night into Monday morning and Tuesday.
Winds could gust as high as 50 mph on exposed ridgetops and near the crest.
If you plan to travel, consider alternate strategies. If you must travel, remember to carry tire chains, plenty of food, a good deal of water, warm clothing, and a flashlight in your vehicle.
