November 14, 2022 - Sierra National Forest officials report the Sierra National Forest is initiating the environmental review process for treatments on the Sierra National Forest to protect monarch giant sequoias and would appreciate your input.

Please do not hesitate to share with us your ideas about this project. Particularly helpful feedback are ideas on alternative ways of reducing the threats to monarch giant sequoia in Nelder and McKinley Groves and your concerns related to the environmental effects of the treatments we are proposing.
