The Mariposa Kiwanis Learning Club is holding classes for children in school readiness, beginning Tuesday, September 8th. The curriculum focus will be on STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) along with literacy and social skills.

Class for 4 to 6 year olds will be held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Classes will be taught by Monica Nelson. Children should be registered for this class by Tuesday, August 25, 2015.
The 9 week session cost is $180.00 for Learning Cub members. For families enrolling more than one child, a discount of $10 per child for the class is offered. Learning Club membership is $50 annually. 

All classes will be held at the Kiwanis Preschool at 5991 Darrah Road, Mariposa. An Open House will be held on Monday, August 24 from 10 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the morning.  Questions and answers, as well as curriculum demonstrations will be available.

The Kiwanis Preschool will continue to operate on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. beginning Tuesday, September 1st, 2015.
