December 27, 2022 - Monday morning, December 26, 2022, Northwest patrol officers responded the area of Shaw Avenue and Barcus Avenue regarding a grand theft of tools and a toolbox.

Later in the day, officers responded to the area of Marks Avenue and Weber Avenue on a report of locating the suspect and the suspect’s vehicle. Officers found the suspect to have a felony warrant for possession of stolen property and was on parole for possessing narcotics while armed. During a probation compliance search of the vehicle, officers located a revolver, handgun, rifle, ammunition, and methamphetamine.

The suspect was subsequently arrested for grand theft and various weapon and narcotic related offenses. He was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
