When Deputies arrived, they located a parked car on the property. Deputies noticed five subjects, armed with handguns and rifles, hiding near and under the vehicle. Three rifles, four handguns, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition with high-capacity magazines, were located at the scene. Several of the firearms were determined to be ghost guns.
Deputies were able to contact the reported missing person in Manteca and speak with him. Thankfully, Manteca Police Department was able to confirm that the victim was okay.
Later that morning, MCSO Detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence. Inside, they located more high-capacity magazines and an adult male, however, the man was determined not to be involved in this incident.
Deputies ultimately arrested five suspects, Gurtaj Singh, Gurlal Singh, Princepreet Singh, Harkirat Singh, and Rajeev Ranjan, for various weapons charges.
Great job by all the Deputies and Detectives who helped bring this incident to a peaceful end.
