December 29, 2022 - The Sheriff’s Office would like to provide the Community an Alert regarding the closure of Madera Community Hospital beginning at midnight tonight (Friday, December 30th, 2022)
The Emergency Room at MCH will be closed and no medical staff will be on site.
If you have a medical emergency, please call 911 and allow first responders to help you.
If you wish to transport yourself to the hospital, see below for the nearest hospitals with open Emergency Rooms.

NOTICE OF HOSPITAL AND CLINIC CLOSURE
ALL LABOR AND DELIVERY SERVICES AT MADERA COMMUNITY HOSPITAL WILL STOP EFFECTIVE WEDNESDAY 12/28/2022.
OUR EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT WILL CLOSE EFFECTIVE AT 12:00 A.M. FRIDAY, DECEMBER 30. 2022.
OTHER Services will stop at Madera Community Hospital on January 3, 2023, at 12:00 a.m. including Surgery, Outpatient Radiology & Lab.
MCH CLINICS -- Specialty, Mendota, FHS and Chowchilla Clinics will close on January 10, 2023, at 7:00 a.m. This includes:

AFTER JANUARY 3, 2023, all patients in the hospital will be transferred as beds are available or discharged home.
Madera Community Hospital is dedicated to continuing services to our patients that are in the hospital and will ensure that they are safely transferred or discharged.
PATIENTS ARE ASKED TO REQUEST COPIES OF THEIR MEDICAL RECORDS NO LATER THAN JANUARY 10, 2023, BY CALLING MEDICAL RECORDS AT (559) 675-5415.
