January 6, 2023 - The National Weather Service Hanford Office reports a Flood Watch is in effect for most of Central California Sunday through Wednesday.
Creeks and streams are running high and could flood during prolonged periods of heavy rainfall.
Flooding may take place in poor drainage and urban areas.

Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A couple of systems will bring rain throughout the region beginning late Saturday night. The first system will continue into Sunday and bring mainly moderate rain while possibly heavy at times, although flooding is possible due to saturated soil from recent heavy precipitation.
