February 9, 2023 - A public viewing and Mass for fallen Selma Police Department Officer Gonzalo Carrasco will be held at on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Church at 2441 Dockery, Selma, CA 93662.
Funeral Services for will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Selland Arena Convention Center at 700 M Street, Fresno, CA 93721. Uniform is Class A. Law enforcement credentials for non-uniformed personnel will be required as security screening will be in place.
A procession will follow the services to Reedley Cemetery at 2185 S. Reed, Reedley, CA 93654. See below for procession information.
PROCESSION ROUTE INFORMATION
Law Enforcement Procession Vehicles: Parking for LE patrol cars and motors wishing to participate in the procession for fallen Officer Carrasco, will need to enter southbound M Street from Fresno Street. A Fresno Police Department representative will be at that location to provide further direction to assist in staging the law enforcement vehicle for procession parking.
Directions: If traveling either north or south on the 99 Freeway, exit Fresno Street and proceed east to M Street. If traveling north on 41 Freeway, exit Van Ness Avenue and proceed north to Fresno Street and then east to M Street. If traveling south on 41 Freeway, exit 0 Street and proceed north to Fresno Street and then west to M Street.
Non-Processions/non-sworn attendees: For those attending that do not wish to participate in the procession and/or non-sworn attendees, parking will be provided in the Convention Center Parking structure (707 0 Street) located on the southwest corner of 0 Street and Inyo Street. Overflow parking will be available in the parking lot south of the structure, if needed.
VIP/Non-Procession: Parking for VIP's not wishing to participate in the procession will be in the southeast portion of the Convention Center parking lot, west of the Cosmopolitan restaurant parking, south of the media parking. Entry will be made from the convention center parking lot entrance off 0 Street. A Fresno Police Representative will be at that location to provide further instructions.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE PARKING LOT DEDICATED TO THE COSMOPOLITAN RESTAURANT LOCATED ON THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF VENTURA AND 0 STREET

RECEPTION: A reception for law enforcement personnel only will be held at the Selland Arena starting immediately following funeral services until 6:00 p.m.

GENERAL PUBLIC INFORMATION: The general public is invited and encouraged to attend all services. Security screening will be conducted at the Selland Arena. Please leave all bags, backpacks, purses etc. at home. Seating will be limited so plan to arrive early to allow for parking, security screening and seating delays.
Public parking will be located at the Convention Center Garage at 707 "0" Street, Fresno, CA 93721.
