February 11, 2023 - The National Weather Service Hanford Office reports a High Wind Warning is in effect for the Sierra Nevada above 7,000 feet from 7:00 A.M. Sunday morning until 10:00 P.M. Sunday evening.
Damaging wind gusts could blow down trees and power lines. Secure outdoor items, such as patio furniture prior to the onset of high winds.

Power outages are possible. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Secure outdoor items, such as patio furniture, sports equipment, and trash cans prior to the onset of high winds. Even the most common objects become dangerous projectiles when picked up and carried by high winds. People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if you must drive.
