We are covering a vast span of questions, solutions, and possibilities in the strategic plan. The future level & quality of services provided by the Lake Don Pedro Community Services District will be discussed, including the geographic area that we are offering our services to now and in the future. The board will also be considering the need for additional water supplies, the stability and reliability of our water system infrastructure, as well as future replacements and repairs, how future repairs might be funded, what types of employees we’re looking to welcome in the future, and how the District will be managed.
The Board has already held two meetings to complete the strategic plan, and the third meeting is scheduled for September 18th at 10am. This meeting will be open to the public, and will be held at the Deerwood Office, on the corner of Ranchito and Merced Falls Road. It is absolutely critical that there is a strong and steady public involvement in this planning process. The district is more than a service provider – we are a vital vein in the community, and you, the community member, are just as much a part of our voice as our employees and Board. This meeting is the perfect opportunity for you to become familiar with what the district is doing for you, how we serve you, and where you might be able to put your expertise & input to good use in your community.
