March 18, 2023 - Mariposa County Solid Waste & Recycling is accepting FREE spoiled food disposal now through the end of March at all of their locations during regular hours for those who lost food due to power outages during the recent storms.
Many in our area continue to see power outages, and some are being restored - here is a good reminder about food safety after a power outage.
Our Environmental Health team has provided easy-to-use guides to help you determine what foods are safe to keep and what should be tossed after a power outage.
