The following morning, the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office along with the Yosemite National Park Service Special Response Team (SRT) served a search warrant on the home of Michael Cutter located in the 4800 block of Mark Lee Rd. in Mariposa. He was taken into custody without incident.
While searching the residence, Mariposa County Sheriff Deputies located what appeared to be a Honey/Hashish Oil manufacturing operation. 1,763 grams of marijuana along with two rifles, two shotguns, large amounts of butane, scales and packaging materials were collected.
The weapon described at the Art’s Park incident, was recovered by deputies at a location near Miller Rd. in Mariposa.
Michael A. Cutter was booked into the Mariposa County Jail on charges the following charges:
664/187(A) PC- Felony- Attempt Murder
245 (A)(2) PC- Felony- Assault with a Deadly Weapon
496 (A) PC- Felony – Receiving Stolen Property
29800(A)(1) PC- Felony – Felon in Possession of a Firearm
11379.6(A) H&S –Felony – Manufacturing Controlled Subject
11359 H&S – Felony – Possession of Marijuana for Sale
He is currently being held on $200,000 bail.
