April 13, 2023 - Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials reported that due to increased water flows in the Kings River, an evacuation warning is now in place for residents in the area northeast of Highway 180 and Piedra Road. The water has recently risen significantly near the Riverbend RV Park, a piece of property that historically is prone to flooding. The Kings River will continue to rise as snow melts and water releases are increased out of Pine Flat Dam.

An evacuation warning means residents should begin gathering belongings and be prepared for possible evacuation orders. Monitor hazardous situations and report them immediately by dialing 911 or (559) 600-3111.
