May 1, 2023 - Yosemite National Park officials report the Merced River did not rise as much as forecast so Yosemite Valley will then reopen fully on Monday at 7:00 A.M.

Rivers are running very high and are extremely dangerous. Do not go into or even approach rivers in Yosemite.
