May 8, 2023 - Tulare County Sheriff's Office officials report that at around 8:20 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023, two masked men walked into the Poplar Mini Mart in 19200 block of Avenue 144 in Poplar. One of the men was armed with a gun and demanded money from the clerk. The suspects got away with cash from the register.

Luckily, no one was hurt.
