May 13, 2023 - El Dorado County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Friday, May 12, 2023, El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office Detectives arrested 61-year-old Christopher Slager of Pollock Pines for multiple counts of sexual acts with a child under 10. Slager worked as an elementary school janitor in Camino. Slager was booked into the El Dorado County Placerville Jail and is being held on $2,000,000 bail.

At this time, no identified victims were enrolled at Camino School or Camino Unified School District.
