May 14, 2023 - Merced – Merced Police Department officials report that on March 11, at 10:04 P.M. Officer Michael Olivas observed a vehicle driving in the area of MLK Way & W. 14th Street with expired registration. After stopping the vehicle, he made contact with the driver Vincent McMurray (64). While McMurray was looking for his identification Officer Olivas observed a handgun in a bag. McMurray, a convicted felon was arrested. During a search of the vehicle 16.8 grams of meth, and 336 grams of Marijuana were located.
McMurray was booked into the Merced County jail for weapons and drug charges.
