Napa County Mandatory Evacuation Order: Berryessa Estates; Aetna Springs Rd west of Butts Canyon Rd. Advisory Evacuation: Napa County Pope Valley north of Ink Grade Rd. Sonoma County Pine Flat Rd (addresses 5000 and above), Geyser Rd out of Healdsburg (addresses 6000 and above) and Geysers Rd out of Geyserville (addresses 9400 and above). Repopulation: The Riviera evacuation area has been lifted and is open to RESIDENTS ONLY. Conditions: | Fire behavior was moderate throughout the day due to cooler weather. A chance of rain exists tonight. Rain may assist firefighter’s efforts on strengthening and constructing additional fire line. Firefighters continue to focus on public’s safety, structural defense, and perimeter control. 585 homes have been destroyed by the Valley Fire and hundreds of other structures are known to have been destroyed as well. Residents of the Riviera Communities were allowed to return to their homes today.*** Damage Assessment teams continue to collect information in the affected fire areas as access becomes available*** |
