May 21, 2023 - Fresno Police Department officials report that Central patrol officers responded to the area of McKinley Avenue and West Avenue for reports of gunshots in the area. Three subjects were contacted outside of an apartment where officers observed a firearm and ammunition on one of the subjects who was found to be a 15-year-old.

Officers located an additional firearm and ammunition directly next to the juvenile. The other two subjects were an 18-year-old and a 16-year-old. A protective sweep was conducted of the apartment where additional ammunition and an air-soft rifle were found in plain view. A search warrant yielded additional ammunition. The firearms were unserialized.

The 15-year-old was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Justice Center for multiple firearm offenses.
