Homicide Investigation 

May 31, 2023 - Fresno Police Department officials report that on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at 7:03 p.m., Central Policing District officers responded to the intersection of Glenn Avenue and Lansing Way for a report of a gunshot victim. Officers found 39-year-old Paul Fierro suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. Fierro was transported to Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) where he was pronounced deceased.

Detectives learned Fierro was involved in a verbal altercation with another male and was struck by gunfire during the altercation. Detectives are currently canvassing the nearby neighborhood for witnesses and surveillance footage that captured this incident and are asking anyone with information to please contact the Fresno Police Department.
