Unfortunately, he was found deceased.
Yosemite National Park Rangers had been searching extensively for him since he was reported overdue from his hike.
The large scale search effort included utilizing ground teams, dog teams, and the park helicopter.
Nolan was scheduled to complete his hike on September 9.
The investigation is ongoing at this time and no further details are available.
Scott Gediman, Assistant Superintendent for Public & Legislative Affairs said. "The park extends its condolences to the family and friends of Timothy Nolan."

Mr. Nolan had a wilderness permit to backpack from Happy Isles to Tuolumne Meadows from Tuesday, September 1 through Friday, September 4.
According to his mother, he had planned on hiking a loop: Happy Isles-Little Yosemite Valley-Sunrise Lakes-Tuolumne Meadows-Lyell Canyon-Rafferty Creek-Vogelsang-Merced Lake-Little Yosemite Valley-Happy Isles, ending Wednesday, September 9.
Timothy Nolan is a 36-year-old white male, 5 ft 4 in, 130 pounds, with short hair.
