June 10, 2023 - Have you been asking - what is the summer reading program? How do I register? Is it open for all ages? Then this is the post for you! Our summer reading program begins Wednesday, June 14. This is a fun way to engage learners of all ages!

Youth participants receive prizes for completing each level. They complete a sheet, turn it in, receive their prize, and move to the next level.

For our adult participants, there will be a drawing for prizes in August. Pre-readers and readers of all ages, from infant to senior, are welcome to register. Want to inspire the next generation to become avid readers? Lead by example and sign up!

Registration begins June 14th, with a cut-off date of June 30th. There will be a kickoff event for children and youth participants on Wednesday, June 14th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Mariposa Library. There will be a registration table at this event, but you can also sign up by visiting our circulation desk between the 14th and the 30th.

We hope to see you at the library this summer! Activities and events related to our theme, celebrating local wildlife, will be offered throughout the summer for registered participants.
