It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Police Officer Manvir Dhanoa, a dedicated and promising member of the Sanger Police Department, who, while off-duty, was involved in a tragic traffic collision Tuesday morning on Millerton Road near Sky Harbor Road.
Officer Manvir (Manny) Dhanoa began his law enforcement career with the Sanger Police Department on March 27, 2023, at the age of twenty-six, and his enthusiasm for serving his community was evident from the moment he joined the force. He possessed a deep commitment to upholding the law and ensuring public safety, traits that made him a valued member of our department.
The incident occurred earlier today when Officer Dhanoa's vehicle left the road for reasons yet unknown, resulting in critical injuries. Despite medical attention provided at the scene, he tragically succumbed to his injuries, leaving behind a profound void within our department and the community he served.
The Sanger Police Department extends its deepest condolences to Officer Dhanoa's family, friends, colleagues, and loved ones during this immensely difficult time. We stand with them in their pain and sorrow, offering our unwavering support and assistance as they navigate this tragic loss.
