declaring a state of emergency due to the increased number of dead and dying trees. Both Tuolumne and Mariposa counties have passed a similar resolution and we anticipate other Sierra counties to follow shortly.
Supervisor Wheeler is working across party lines at the State and Federal level with the goal to try and find resources that could assist private land owners and increase public safety.
