June 23, 2023 - Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that homicide detectives are investigating the deaths of two older women.  Around 6:30 a.m., Kerman Police responded to a condominium at W. Kearney & S. Del Norte to check the welfare of the ladies who were roommates.  After no one answered the door, Kerman Police officers entered the unit and found two women deceased.  Their injuries were consistent with a homicide, so the Fresno County Sheriff's Office was requested to handle the investigation.

The names of the deceased are not available for release at this time.  It does appear they were specifically targeted and this is not a random act.
