■ COMMUNITY MEETING ■

Wednesday, September 30, 2015

* Virtual Tour : 5:30 – 6:00 PM *
* Facilitated Community Conversation 6:00 – 7:00 PM *

Mariposa County Government Center - Board of Supervisors Chambers
5100 Bullion Street, Mariposa

The Transportation Center Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) will present a “Virtual Tour” of parking and transportation conditions and opportunities within the Town of Mariposa. The Virtual Tour will consist of narrated video and photographs put together by the CAC and its consultant in preparation for this Community Meeting.

A facilitated Community Conversation is planned following the Virtual Tour. The purpose of the Virtual Tour and Conversation is to enable businesses owners, residents and visitors an opportunity to comment on obstacles to, and opportunities for, achieving parking and circulation improvements in the Town of Mariposa.

“We would like everyone concerned with parking, circulation and access in the downtown Historic District and Mariposa in general to participate in this important Community Meeting” says Duane Robinson, Chairperson of the 11 member Citizens Advisory Committee guiding the project. “The opinions and recommendations from the community will be used to craft solutions that will truly serve the downtown Historic District and all of Mariposa.”

For more information contact Brian Foucht: email bfoucht@mariposacounty.org and phone (209)742-1216.

The project is funded by a Transit Planning Grant from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
