Firearms Seized After Traffic Stop
July 5, 2023 - Merced – Merced Police Department officials report that on July 4, 2023, Officer Rosales conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle without a rear license plate. One of the occupants was on probation with search and seizure terms. A search of the vehicle yielded a concealed firearm with a high-capacity magazine. Quincy Mitchell (19) was booked into Merced County jail on multiple weapon violations.
