July 15, 2023 – Mariposa County Sheriff's Office officials report that members of the Sheriff’s office who are also part of the Internet Crimes against Children task force, received several cyber hits that a local resident had accessed or uploaded child sexual abuse type material.

Friday morning Detectives and Deputies following up on those hits arrested Brian Foutch age 53 of Mariposa on possession of child pornography.

Mr. Foutch was taken into custody and booked into the Mariposa County Jail.
