Homicide Investigation 

July 18, 2023 - Fresno Police Department officials report that the police department is searching for 28-year-old Kelon White for the murder of Silvano Villa-Fierro. On Sunday, July 16, 2023, just after 4:00 p.m., Central officers responded to the 1800 Block of West Clinton Avenue regarding a gunshot victim. Officers found 46-year-old Silvano Villa-Fierro suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers and EMS personnel performed life-saving efforts and Villa-Fierro was rushed to CRMC. Villa-Fierro was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Homicide detectives have identified Kelon White as the suspect responsible for this fatal shooting. White and the victim were involved in a physical altercation inside an apartment before White fired the deadly shot. White fled the scene and is currently wanted for murder. Police have obtained a warrant for White’s arrest. We encourage anyone with information to contact the Fresno Police Department.
